Jeanine Zanzibar (1958- ) was born in Reno, Nevada, USA. A full-time kindergarten teacher and part-time nuclear scientist, her books include Healthy Snacks for Growing Primates (1994) and Worms of Wisdom (1985). She lives on an ant farm in Schivelbusch, Minnesota.
