Aimee Pillow (1879-1952) was born and raised in Amherst, Massachusetts, USA. During her lifetime, she wrote dozens of magazine articles and published ten books including Animals Who Like Jewelry (1926; reprinted 1976 in a revised Bicentennial edition), and The Cat’s Pajamas: Dressing Your Stylish Feline (1936), which won the 1937 Edith Clifton Majors Award for Most Distinguished Book About Cats.
